A Little Update
Monica: I’ve been a knitting machine this month and finished a few projects.
May Stashbuster-I finished seaming Monika tonight and have to sew in the zipper now. But first I need a zipper. I’m not sure about the fit yet since the ribbing is a bit tight but after some blocking I’m hoping it relaxes a little (or a lot would be good).
Do you see the weird indentations on the front bands? I stupidly used some 5 lb dumbells to block the front pieces and they completely flattened the bottom. They did the job though but I’m hoping that another round of blocking will fix that.
Commuter Project-I finished a pair of socks tonight that I’ve been working on for a month.
I’ve knitted several pairs of socks already but these are the first pair for me! Green is not a color I normally wear but I’m happy to wear this color on my feet. My new commuter project is Debbie Bliss’ Chevron Jacket. Here’s a finished sleeve that I worked on last week (not during commuting but since this project is so small I’ve decided that I can work on it while on the train):
I’m using the pink and orange yarn originally slated for the Via Diagonale bag. I like it better as a baby sweater.
