I Have Nothing
Monica: to post about today so I looked around my desk and took pictures of some of the stuff on it.
I have four 2005 calendars. That’s right – four. One of them is from The Simsbury Bank in Connecticut. I’ve never heard of this bank but this is the third year I’ve received this calendar in the mail. I think the previous owners of our house must have banked there. The pictures in the calendar aren’t that exciting but for some reason I decided that I had to keep it. Calendar #2 has pictures of tropical flowers in Hawaii. My in-laws sent it to us and it just makes me want to go back to Hawaii whenver I stare at it. The third calendar has pictures from Provence and the last is of the Greek Isles. Even though I had the first 2 calendars already I had to get these when they were on sale. Can you tell I really like calendars?
Lynette and I ordered 2 Jaeger books from the Knit Happens sale last week. I received them today. There are some nice patterns in there.
Last year Lynette and I were members of a knitting guild. During one of the meetings we had a group project to sew together some squares that were knitted by some of the customers of a yarn shop. The yarn shop owner then gave Lynette and I a bunch of squares to put together at our leisure and then return to the shop when complete. That was a year ago. I’m ashamed to show you this picture but I have to so that I really motivate myself to sew these squares. I feel like such a loser for keeping these squares for so long.
