Sock Reincarnation
Monica: Remember this sock that Lynette was knitting for me during the trip to the Michigan Fiber Fest? It was supposed to look like these but when I started working on it myself I couldn’t get the pattern to work out. There’s one part where you knit 3 stitches together but you use the last stitch that you previously knitted. Which isn’t difficult but there’s a yarn over in between those stitches. I wasn’t sure what to do with the yarn over so I couldn’t get it to work. Lynette tried to help me but we couldn’t figure it out. Has anyone knit the Heart socks before and if so what am I doing wrong with Chart A? So at lunchtime I switched to these socks:
These are the River Rapids socks which is offered as a free pattern by this blogger. Mine look more like the Raging Red Sea since they are red. But the pattern is much easier to follow and it’s a really quick knit.
