Sunday FO

Monica: I’m still working on finding a good sock photographer. I’m at the point now where I pick out the background for the sock photo before I finish the sock project. I wanted to take a picture of the finished green jaywalkers on top of a really pretty native bush that’s flowering right now. I rushed to finish the second sock last night so that I could pose the socks on the bush before the flowers on the bush faded. I probably still had a few days left but I just had to finish the socks. How sad is that?We woke up to these this morning.

We could hear the whoosh of the air going into the balloons very loudly. My sister-in-law has been waiting for years for one of these to land in her back yard. She said that it’s a tradition that if a balloon lands in your yard, the balloon handler (driver? master?) has to give you champagne and muffins to show his/her gratitude for landing on your property. No one landed here today. Which was a good thing because none of us had showered, combed our hair, and I hadn’t brushed my teeth yet. We live in the country remember?
