The Internets Are Alive

Lynette: My internets were down from last Friday night until earlier today, but it’s back now I hope! I had 109 emails on my Comcast account. Also my TV cable and phone services were down too. How bad is that? But during that time I finished my River Rapids aka Grand Canyon socks. Again, what an easy pattern. Thanks sock-bug.

Pattern: River Rapids
Yarn: Lorna’s Laces Fun Knits Colorway
Needle: Size 2 circs

I also finished a few dishcloths. Boy are they addicting! Obviously, I’m not the only one that thinks so.

I did modify the pattern slightly. Instead of purling the rows, I knit every row. It’s still garter stitch and it’s a bit more dense. After knitting my first dishcloth, I had a considerable amount of yarn leftover. So, I started a second and third one for my mom and sister. Still lots of yarn leftover. I finished the fourth dishcloth now using the same 4 balls of yarn. This one will go to my boss. She’s really cool! I really hope I can use it all up with this one. Before this project, I NEVER used dishcloths. Now I have a new appreciation for them especially since I made them myself. ;)

Stay tuned for progress on my Green Gables. So far, so good!!!
