Needles, Odd Socks, Forecast
Monica: Remember these? Thanks to your suggestions I contacted Brittany on Monday, heard back from them on Tuesday and got my needles today–Friday! Talk about great service.
Inside were 4 needles. My collection is complete again.
Here are a pair of weird-looking socks I finished this week.
I used some leftovers again and made the cuff longer than the other leftover socks I made before. Which was a mistake because the feet of the socks look funny to me now. The heel is a solid red which you can’t see but you can focus on the ugly carpeting instead. The pattern is the Lichen Ribbed Socks from Knitting Vintage Socks. I’m done with leftover socks for a while.
Forecast is moving along.
I think Typepad was having issues with forwarding comments this week. I received some comments from my previous posts in my email but not all of them. At first I thought it was Yahoo but then I read that others were having the same problem and they didn’t have Yahoo email accounts. I wasn’t trying to be rude by not responding to your comments.
Hopefully I’ll get the ones from this post today. So..even if you weren’t going to comment can you add something so I can test it? Lynette didn’t have any problems with her comments.
