Markers Are My Friends
Monica: I have to remind myself that every time I knit a project and struggle with remembering to add a stitch or a yarnover that I should use my stitch markers. I don’t know why but I never think about them unless I absolutely need them. Maybe I don’t like moving them off from one needle to another but I really need them after ripping back several rows. You may scoff at using markers for this really simple Pinwheel Blanket:
but as I was watching TV I just kept knitting and knitting without paying attention to what I was doing and forgetting that I had to add a yarnover every other row. So I finally broke out the markers:
With every project I always use my Good Luck Buddha Marker:
and the Evil Eye Marker to ward off bad knitting vibes:
Hopefully I can stop ripping out my dumb mistakes now.
