Lynette: I’m so happy to be finished with my 2nd tomato. It was worth re-knitting for sure. After knitting it the first time, I said I was going to rip it. But instead I gifted it to one of the knitters at my Panera group and she bought yarn for me to start my second. I made several changes the second time around. First, I followed the directions with my decreases. Second, I knit a smaller size but I used a size 6 for the upper-half which worked out great.

I tried it on often and after I joined for the top, I switched to size 7s. I added decreases where appropriate and that seemed to work out great. Lastly, I added 2 sets of increases at the flair of my hips. I’m very happy with the results of my second tomato.

Now back to my SOS knitting.
