I’ve Been Knitting for a Baby

Pattern: Moderne Log Cabin Baby Blanket
Yarn: Vanna’s Choice Solid

Lynette: I totally forgot to post about this group of  FOs.  This past summer I found out a friend of mine at church was having a baby, and I wanted to knit a really nice set for her.  She didn’t want to know the sex of the baby so I had to find gender neutral colors, but she’s since had a little girl.  The first project I knit for her was the Moderne Log Cabin blanket.  (BTW, let’s reminisce at the summer plants).  I’ve been knitting gifts for her since May and I recently finished the last project.

Pattern: Baby Bobbi Bear by Bobbi Intveld
Yarn: Vanna’s Choice Solid

I think every baby deserves a baby bobbi bear. It’s so easy to knit.  I LOVE stuffing it as much as possible.  I’ve been told I may have overstuffed the head.

Yarn: Lily Sugar’n Cream Solid

I’m not sure you can see but there’s a baby bottle, baby feet, a rattle and a baby hand.  I tried to stay within the color scheme of the earlier pieces, but couldn’t resist knitting something pink for her.  There were four more baby cloths but I decided to only knit these.

So that’s the last of the baby ensemble.  Now back to “fall slipping into winter” knitting.   I have more fun knits to show you soon.
