Goodbye 2009
Lynette: Oh wow!!! What a year. I’m very grateful to have made it through yet another year. It’s held both peaks and valleys, but it’s been a very good year for me and my family. Thanks to all my knitster friends for hanging in there with Monica and I and keeping us encouraged. I can’t speak for Monica, but I’ll try to be a better blogger in 2010.
Let’s see – this time last year, I recapped my knits for the year and I’m surprised that I finished so many projects. I’m sure you’ll see this all over blogland, but here’s my mosaic.

I knit 7 hats, 1 pair of fingerless gloves, 7 pair of socks, 4 scarves, 3 sweaters, 1 vest, 1 cowl, 4 toys, 8 squares, and 1 baby blanket. Whew! I tried desperately to finish a sweater as my last FO for 2009, but thanks to ripping 3 times that didn’t happen. I still have a few WIPS that need to be finished, but I joined Ravelympics 2010 to help me with that.
I was sharing with my knit group this week that I really only have one knitting goal for 2010 and that’s to knit from my stash. I’ll try to stay focused, but I’m sure I’ll stray a bit.
Have a wonderful, safe and blessed Happy New Year.
