Dec 31, 2012: Share the Love

My mom passed away last Friday and even though I knew when she was sick that it was inevitable I was still not ready. There are so many things that I could say about my mom especially as she and I drove each other crazy. I really loved her and miss her greatly.

On a happier note, I found this link from Susan for a free pattern offer from Tin Can Knits. It expires tomorrow so here you go. It was difficult to choose just one pattern because there are so many nice ones.

I hope you all have a healthy and happy new year. Thanks for reading the blog.

I’m so sorry for your loss! Hugs to you and your family. When I lost my Mom many moons ago, I loved listening to Carly Simon’s song “Like a River” which she wrote as a tribute to when her mother died. It’s very sweet. *Hugs* and more *Hugs*

Many prayers for you and your family. And a world of blessings for your mother—I am sure she is dancing and singing in a happy place now, free of all of her lines and medical equipment.

I’m very sorry to hear about your mom. I don’t think you are ever ready to lose a parent, no matter how old you are when it happens.
