Monica: In spite of all that is happening with the country we still have to keep moving on with the everyday things to keep from being sad. One of those nice things that you can do is spend time with some great friends. We got to spend yesterday with Carolyn and we sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather. (Charlie is sitting next to her.)


We also saw 2 movies– Mr. & Mrs. Smith and the 40-Year-Old Virgin. Both movies were good and the Virgin movie was hilarious!

I forgot my camera during last week’s knitting group meeting but Gail had hers. So Kimberly was nice enough to model the poncho that I made last week. Scroll down and check out the ruffly scarf knitted out of Koigu. I think I’m going to have to make that. I hope you enjoy the rest of your long weekend.

    Your poncho looks great! And I too love that Koigu scarf, it could be a good Christmas gift. (And I liked 40 year old Virgin too, much to my surprise).
