Not Deja Vu

Pattern: Creative Knitting Newsboy Cap – Issue July 2007
Yarn: Lion Brand Thick & Quick in Lemongrass
Needle: Size 11s
Lynette: These hats are like eating potato chips – really. They’re so easy and addictive. I knocked this pattern out in about 1-1/2 hours. Unlike the first time I knit this hat, I do not resemble the queen in this picture.

However, what makes me look like a German in this picture? Again, comments from my children. Maybe the smirk?

I also decided that this hat can be worn with or without the brim. Totally versatile. And I totally finished just in time for the changing Chicago weather. Yesterday as I was taking it to my friend, the spring temperature was in the 30s yesterday with cold rain.
She forgave me for wearing it to her house.

German? I don’t get it… I so totally had the same tile in my bathroom when I lived in EP!! The sink & commode were grey, too! The hat is very cute – love the bright color.

Maybe they were thinking of the German opera ladies with the big headdresses. I think it’s adorable!

OMG! The only problem if you wore that Fantabulous Chartruese Chapeau to my crib is that I might try to sneak it off your head and onto MINE at some point (mineminemine…)
BEAUTIFUL, Lynette!
